This highly advanced system comes with a range of programs and features which broadens our diagnostic capabilities whilst reducing radiation exposure to the patient. This intelligent unit automatically adjusts the patient’s head and jaw to the optimal position, which in turn produces a higher quality image and therefore a more accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
ORTHOPHOS XG 3D AND CEREC® INTEGRATION:
• Now the 3D Imaging capabilities of the Orthophos XG unit can be integrated with the technology of our CEREC Restorations acquisition unit.
• The CEREC computer combines the information from the optical acquisition images and the precise radiographic images from the Orthophos unit to create more accurate and functional restorations.
• This technology provides us with the tools to create the best possible restorations right here in our surgery.
Simultaneous prosthetic and surgical planning provides a revolutionary new approach to implantology. For the first time, crown design and the X-ray image are fused together in a single view. This ensures higher safety, fewer work steps, and fewer sessions. The 3D view enables you to easily visualize the proposed solution and understand the required treatment steps.
This technology provides us with the means to take any kind of radiographic image that we require, most of which previously would require a visit to a specialist clinic, incurring an extra cost to the patient and taking more time. Now the means to acquire all of these images is at our fingertips, and we have a huge number of treatment planning and diagnostic abilities available to us.
